Recipe and Ingredients for Simple Brown Linseed Bread (Low Carb)
Bread is rich in in fibre, hormone balancing, high in Omega 3’s and great for skin health
- 200gs of ground flaxseeds/linseeds (Use Nutri bullet or blender to mill up seeds)
- 4 eggs (large)
- 7 tbsps. olive oil
- 7 tbsps. of almond milk
- 1 tbsp. of baking powder and use gluten free baking powder if you want to make recipe gluten free
- ¼ tsp Himalayan/Sea salt
Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix well together.
Pour into a 1 lb baking loaf tin (lined with parchment paper) and bake in a preheated oven at 180 for 30 minutes (depending on oven)
Serve a slice or two with hummus/piece of chicken/fish and a bowl of soup for a lovely lunch/supper option or with have some with peanut/almond butter/hummus or again another lunch option could be served with a tasty simple green salad + a chicken or beef or egg or bean salad.😋
Any remaining bread can be kept for 2-3 days somewhere cool all wrapped up or in tupperware container (bread bin or possibly the fridge) and would ideally be toasted and still so Yummy 😋!! Enjoy!
