Ciara’s Brown Bread
I got so many requests to do videos and give recipes and health tips to keep people healthy during the current virus. So here goes our first one that my 10 year old daughter Ciara made today. Brown Bread with more to follow tomorrow

Ingredients

- 1 egg or egg substitute eg. 1 banana mashed
- 1/4 tsp of Himalayan salt
- 2 level tsps of bread soda
- 450ml of butter milk or fresh milk/coconut milk/oat milk and if not using butter milk add a tsp of fresh lemon juice

- 300g of Howards extra course brown flour
- 100g oats
- 1tsp of milled or regular seeds (chia, pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds)

Instructions
- Mix all of the ingredients together very well
- Butter a 2lb loaf tin and cover with flour
- Pour in mixture and bake in fan oven for 1hr at 180 Celsius
(Bread will keep for a couple of days in a Tupperware bowl or can be frozen)
Note: This bread is so natural that even some people who are wheat free can tolerate a little of it as it is super nutritious and lovely with a bowl of homemade soup or some nut butter (1tsp) or hummus (1tsp) spread on top. Yummm!
